Stall 54: Invisible Books

ABOUT INVISIBLE BOOKS

We dealt secondhand books in Greenwich and Crystal Palace through the 1990s before transferring our business to Brighton in 1999. We have been trading from Snoopers Paradise - originally by the turnstile until moving to our current location behind the cashier's desk in 2017 - ever since.

You will find paperback and hardback literature, along with a selection of pocket editions, including Observer's Books, and vintage paperbacks next to the stairs. Esoterica and a mixture of non-fiction paperbacks are shelved facing out onto the corridor. Immediately opposite, our stall continues on the far side of the corridor. Here you will find a case of poetry and cultural studies, another of politics, and browsable boxes of paperbacks and pulps. We recently acquired a huge collection of vintage crime books and some of these are currently shelved in the middle case. A selection of our more collectable stock is displayed in a glass-fronted cabinet.

Our core interests are experimental and underground literature, esoterica and politics. We are always on the look-out for books in these areas. If you have books to sell which you think may be of interest to us, please drop us a line via the Snoopers contact form.
